These are the places I’ve visited (real or virtual) around the world so far in 2014.
Saturday, December 13th – I was at the 1000 Islands Mall, 2399 Parkedale Avenue, Brockville taking part in the Friends of the Brockville Public Library’s second merrybookmas.
Saturday, December 6th – I took part in A Country Christmas Remembered Craft Show at the Spencerville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, Spencerville, ON.
This wasn’t one of my better days on the sales front. I only sold 1 2015 A Shadow in the Past wall calendar, although I might have a kobo version of A Shadow in the Past sold and one of the other vendors talked to me after we’d shut down for the day about buying a paperback version later this week.
Saturday, November 29th – I was in Merrickville, ON at the Merrickville Craft and Concession show.
I had a very successful day here and met lots of interesting people. Now for the numbers… drum roll, please. I sold 5 copies of A Shadow in the Past, 1 companion calendar, and 2 copies of The Consequences Collection (both to men).
Friday, November 14th – I was at Ladies’ Night at Green Things Garden and Gifts, 1892 Highway 2 East, Brockville, ON K6V 5T1. I’ve taken part in this event in the past two years and had a good time each year.
I sold 1 copy of The Consequences Collection, and 2 copies of A Shadow in the Past. This was the first event I’ve done since getting my Square credit card reader and I even christened it later on in the evening. A few of the folks who came in had purchased A Shadow in the Past in my previous years attending Ladies Night. They all had positive feedback about my book. One lady told me she absolutely loved it and when she finished reading it, packaged it up and sent it to her niece in BC and she loved it as well.
Saturday, November 1st – I was at the Chesterville Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion from 9:00 until 2:00. It was another successful day. I sold 7 copies of A Shadow in the Past and folks were pleased that it was also available in ebook format.
Saturday, October 25th – I took part in the 23rd ANNUAL BRINSTON UNITED CHURCH FALL CRAFT SHOW at the Matilda Hall in Dixon’s Corners from 9:00 until 2:00.
It was an extremely successful day. I sold 8 copies of A Shadow in the Past, 1 companion 2015 wall calendar, and 1 copy of The Consequences Collection.
Saturday, September 20th – I took A Shadow in the Past to Lyndhurst, ON to the Leeds and Thousands Islands Public Library for the annual Turkey Fair.
Sunday Aug 10th – I took part in the 1st annual “Art of the Ages” Car Show and Craft Sale at the Galop Gallery in Cardinal, Ontario, from 10:00 until 2:00.
Saturday, July 12th – I took part in the Brockville Public Library’s Festival of Literary Arts at the Brockville Rowing Club located at 1 Ferry Street from 10:00 until 2:00.
July 1st – Canada Day – I took part (for the first time) in the Canada Day Market in Earl Baker Park, Morrisburg, Ontario. Not only was I selling copies of my books, I wore my A Shadow in the Past T-shirt for the first time.
May 3rd – I was at the 2nd Annual Friendly Circle Showcase at the South Stormont Community Hall, 2 Milles Roches Drive, Long Sault, ON from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
March 23rd – I was Jo Lambert’s guest on her blog feature Tea and Talk at Sally Lunn’s.
