Since having the book rights revert back to me, I&#8217;ve edited and released the second edition of A Shadow in the Past.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s a second edition without a sparkly, new trailer to showcase it?<\/p>\n<p>This is the second version of the trailer for this book. It was updated to reflect the second edition.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 474px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-4624-1\" width=\"474\" height=\"267\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/A-Shadow-In-The-Past-3.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/A-Shadow-In-The-Past-3.mp4\">https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/A-Shadow-In-The-Past-3.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>I produced this book trailer using PowerPoint, my own photos and a royalty-free clip of music.<\/p>\n<p><em><b><i>When a contemporary teen is catapulted back in time to the Victorian era, she becomes A Shadow in the Past&#8230;<\/i><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nineteen year old Sarah Shand finds herself in Victorian Era Aberdeenshire, Scotland and has no idea how she got there. Her last memory is of being at the stone circle on the family farm in the year 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Despite having difficulty coming to terms with her situation, Sarah quickly learns she must keep her true identity a secret. Still, she feels stifled by the Victorians&#8217; confining social practices, including arranged marriages between wealthy and influential families, and confronts them head on then suffers the consequences.<\/p>\n<p>When Sarah realizes she has fallen in love with the handsome Laird of Weetshill, she faces an agonizing decision.
