Today&#8217;s city is <a href=\"https:\/\/brockville.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Brockville<\/a> (also my hometown).<\/p>\n<p>Located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, there&#8217;s plenty to see in the summer when the lakers and ocean-going ships sail by. Also near the waterfront is our newly opened tourist attraction, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brockvillerailwaytunnel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the railway tunnel<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14358\" src=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_20170930_195521.jpg\" alt=\"B is for Brockville\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_20170930_195521.jpg 1600w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_20170930_195521-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_20170930_195521-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_20170930_195521-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This was Canada&#8217;s first railway tunnel, and was completed in the 1860s.
