The part that is Vieux-Qu\u00e9bec,\u00a0 within the walls I think is as close to Paris as you can get without having to go to Paris.<\/p>\n<p>Opening on the American Thanksgiving, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quebecregion.com\/en\/what-to-do\/events\/german-christmas-market\/\" rel=\"noopener\">German Christmas market<\/a> is a great place to mix, mingle and shop.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.melanierobertson-king.ca\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/IMG_4877-1260x840.jpg\" alt=\"Q is for Quebec City\" width=\"1260\" height=\"840\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps, the best-known building in Quebec City is the Hotel Chateau Frontenac.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14465\" src=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0039-1280x853.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0039-1280x853.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0039-1280x853-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0039-1280x853-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0039-1280x853-1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This fairy-tale castle with its central tower stretching high into the sky, located at the top of the cliff, stands guard over the city.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-14466\" src=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0195-1280x853.jpg\" alt=\"Q is for Quebec City\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0195-1280x853.jpg 1280w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0195-1280x853-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0195-1280x853-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/IMG_0195-1280x853-1024x682.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can walk the boardwalk, known as Dufferin Terrace, from the hotel out to the Plains of Abraham.
