This year, the Canadian flag celebrates it&#8217;s 50th year, but perhaps even more special, it was born here in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brockville.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Brockville<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Our local newspaper, The Recorder and Times, featured an article on the subject and the huge flag and dedication ceremony that will take place at 3:00 pm today. You can read the article <a href=\"http:\/\/www.recorder.ca\/2013\/06\/19\/massive-maple-leaf-to-rise-over-401\" target=\"_blank\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As in previous years, the day will end with a fireworks display.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6474\" alt=\"fireworks\" src=\"http:\/\/www.melanierobertson-king.com\/wp02\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/fireworks.jpg\" width=\"193\" height=\"197\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Where do you live in Canada?
