#AtoZChallenge – Jackal

The jackal is a small carnivorous member of the Canis family. It’s native to Africa and South-Central Eurasia. They are well suited for running. When jackals hunt, they either hunt alone or in pairs.

  1. I love anything that looks like a dog. Actually he looks like our dog “Fox”. I actually think our dog might have been part coyote

  2. We have coyotes here right in town! They tend to stick to the more wild locations although one has been spotted running along the creek behind some apartment buildings.

  3. We had a dog a few years ago that was a cross between a German Shepherd and a Corgi. People likened him to a ‘dingo’.
