A member of the horse family, the zebra is native to Africa. Unlike their ‘cousins’ horses and donkeys, zebras have never been domesticated.

Lovely animals. All those stripes make a person dizzy looking at them. I did not know that each one was unique. Now I’m wanting to study them to see the differences. 🙂
I love zebras. I once did a painting of zebra stripes (just the stripes) which was a really interesting thing to do since the way they curve round the body is… gorgeous. Unfortunately I sold it, so I can’t look at it any more… but at least someone liked it 🙂
