After a couple of lean nights, I’m happy to say I’m back on track and have added 850 words to my manuscript. Yeah me!!!

Nary a word written on my manuscript but I did manage to write 182 words for another photo prompt for my next writer’s meeting. Whether I finish it or not remains to be seen. I’ve already got two written and this current work-in-progress is extremely DRY! So I would have to re-write it anyway to make it more interesting rather than just the facts.

Looking more and more like March is coming in like a lion… bodes even better for the end of the month when I’m off on a weekend away and a Brian Henry workshop.

I took this last night just after 8:30 when it was coming down like crazy. And now it’s raining.

Mother Nature is very confused.

Not Monday after work, nor Tuesday either. That’s not good. Two days and no writing. Have to get my butt in gear and get back at it.

I ordered two books from Amazon.ca last night so maybe they’ll help me get back on track. Almost ordered a third but something about the cover niggled at my brain so I checked through my stash of books that I have no room on my bookcases for and sure enough, it was there so it was promptly deleted from the list.

I really need to catalog my books. It’s bad enough I purchase duplicate copies of magazines from time to time.

This morning, the grader that was out to do snow removal slid got stuck on our street on the hill. It was hilarious to watch the       operator trying to back up and get free.

Unfortunately, by the time I ran in the house and grabbed my BlackBerry, it was unstuck and off on its merry way. And since I was in my pyjamas, I couldn’t stay outside too long.

If you look closely, you can see the blades to the right of the vehicles parked on the street.

A little bit of entertainment for an otherwise nasty day weather-wise.

It’s snowing and blowing here this morning. Should make for interesting walking/driving out there. Yesterday, it poured rain all day and then in the evening it changed to freezing rain. I don’t know what time it started to snow, only that it was doing it when I got up about 6:00 to put the alarm dog out. Every now and then, it blows so hard I can barely see across the street.

I’ve got a pot of spaghetti sauce on. It was completely made by 8:30 this morning. It’s smelling really good about now and is making me hungry.

I’m back home from having my nails are done and they look fantastic. First of many loads of laundry in the wash machine.

Hoping to have at least one productive day on the writing front this weekend since I did absolutely nothing yesterday and tomorrow will be a busy day. So here’s hoping today turns out to be as productive as I’m hoping for.
