The fox is a member of the canine family and is found on every continent but Antarctica. They are omnivores and are slightly smaller than an average dog.
Recently, there have been reports in the news of foxes entering houses during the night in parts of London, England and attacking babies and toddlers.

They’re pretty little animals. I didn’t know that they would attack children. That’s bad.
I remember typing that sentence.
Picture 24 is of a fox sheltering in someone’s garden.
We typed that sentence many times over the years – even on manual typewriters which we learned on in grade 10.
I love foxes , coyotes and wolves because I am a dog person. They may be living in very close quarters but is this really true or are the fears of people getting the better of everyone? Coyotes are big in Toronto but thankfully have heard nothing about children being attacked

In the UK, foxes and man are living together cheek by jowl. Here’s the link to a the most recent photo gallery on the BBC website. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-32173414#24
